A show stopper at this year’s E3 Expo, the Wii U and it’s touch screen controller promises to offer gamers a gaming experience like they’ve never experienced before. However, the company behind the Wii U, Nintendo, says that the system will only support one of the touch screen controllers due to it’s cost. Nintendo’s CEO, Satoru Iwata, states:
“there’s a cost” problem in requiring consumers to buy an extra controller. That’s why the console and its games will only support one of the new flashy pieces of technology.
If the controller retailed for more than half the price of the system, fine. If that’s not the case, I’m not sure how consumers would feel about being told what they can and can’t afford. What do you think about this? Sound off in the comments section below!
