Yes! The next installment of Pokemon, Pokemon: Black & White, is coming to the Nintendo DS portable system on March 6, 2011! Fans in North America will finally be able to get their hands on this game after it sold a staggering 2.6 million copies in it’s first week in Japan. The developer, Game Freak, has worked hard to make Pokemon B&W fresh and new, while maintaining the essence of Poke(mon) Battles.
For instance, Game Freak has added extra value to the game’s online capabilities by allowing gamers to access special content by uploading their save files to a Web site. Also, the game sports 150 new, yes NEW, pokemon that gamers can train, battle, and call their own. Awwwwww. And because we know the hype for this game is going to reach a fever pitch, we’ll wet your palette with the names of the 3 starters:
- Grass-type Snivy
- Fire-type Tepig
- Water-type Oshawott
The Black version of the game will feature an exclusive city, while the White version will a very posh forest. Both, however, will feature season changes which is a first for the franchise. We here at VGLounge.com sure can’t wait to get our hands on this game. As soon as we do, please be sure to expect a complete and full comprehensive review! Hopefully, we won’t get sued by Nintendo over it.
Pikachu… I choose you!! No? Oh.
