Apparently Nintendo plans to co-develop and release a new Sonic game, titled Sonic Dimensions, for their upcoming Wii U system. It is allegedly in the same bloodline as Sonic Colors and will include multiplayer capabilities and a very strange color-related mechanic: Sonic will be split into multiple personalities, with different colors to distinguish them. I’m personally hoping we don’t get that last part because let’s be honest, there are enough fan-created characters to make just about anyone vomit in disgust. If it ends up looking more like Hyper Sonic’s colors though, I will definitely be pleased that they at least referenced the one-shot powered-up version of Super Sonic.
Personally I’ll be looking forward to Generations as long as none of the trophies involve playing the 3D or new part, whatever you may call it. If they do it definitely won’t see my money as I believe the last great game in the series was Sonic & Knuckles. This game already sounds way too silly for me but judging by how many people enjoy the new generation of Sonic games, it will probably be a hit.

You know, I thought it’s been awhile since we got rumors of another Sonic title. But if true, with Nintendo in the background, this could be a decent bit of news to be optimistic towards.
Is this the title in psn? If it is then the demo is nice.
