So before I become slightly competitive in gaming and when I was much younger, I used to do something that I would normally make fun of someone for now. I used to reduce the level against the computer if I found something challenging. I admit it, I was that guy. And I’d play it confidently like I was really doing something. Feeling big and bad because I finally beat that game without acknowledging that there was no real competition.
Since then, I’ve stepped it up. If it’s a game I’m playing with someone I won’t let them drop the level. The only direction the difficulty is allowed to go is higher. But yes, this was one of my bigger secrets.
