That’s right folks, it seems that our beloved RPG series that has been sitting nice and pretty as one of the best, is slowly being dethroned. Figures reveal that within the first week of sales for Final Fantasy XIII-2, it was out sold by Tales of Xillia. Lol… you thought they were shut down too. Nope, the Tales Of series is still alive and kicking, and it looks like it has its target in sight. Now with such news of FFXIII-2 not doing so well in the first week it has come to the peoples attention that the series is finally reaching that played out status. Here are the sales figures showing you weekly/total sales:

Tales of Xillia, within its first week, sold 525,605 copies. Could this really mark the slowly approaching end of Final Fantasy, or will the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Versus XIII be able to change all that?

Square has made alot of mistakes with 13, low anticipation for 13-2 is responsible for this statistic, I think once Versus hits, you’ll see square boom back to the top again…
