In the Tekken series there is one family that plays a dominant role in every game, the Mishima’s. Heihachi is the grandfather of the family but he hasn’t lost a step. From Tekken 1 to Tekken 6 Hehachi has gone for a black haired balding warrior to a grey haired veteran but he’s only gotten more deadly as the years have progressed. Heihachi was a bad man, but the next person in this face-off is badder.
Next we have Kazuya, Heihachi’s son. Kazuya really doesn’t have a good bone in his body. He was the main protagonist of Tekken 1 and he wanted revenge against father. Why did he want revenge? Because Heihachi threw him off of a cliff before he was old enough to enter the first grade. Kazuya was saved by the purely evil “devil gene” which allowed him to take revenge on his father. Too bad he was beaten by Heihachi and then got thrown into a volcano. Kazuya had it rough but he’s made some big moves and now he’s arguably a badder man then Heiachi and the father of Jin Kazama.
Jin Kazama is the grandson of the Mishima family tree. He is the son of Jun Kazama and Kazuya Mishima and he’s just as fearsome as his dad and his grandfather. Jin has the good elements from his mother and grandmother but the dark side and the devil gene from his father’s side. Jin has attempted to end the Mishima family line but when he had the chance to end the family line he failed. Jin has the power to defeat Kazuya and Heihachi, but just as easily as they beat him the tables can be turned on him.
So who is the greatest Mishima of them all. I did not include Jin’s great grandfather Jinpachi, who is not truly evil but also wants the the Mishima bloodline to end and recognizes the evil of the Mishima bloodline from Heihachi forward. Jinpachi is not one of the main characters from the Mishima bloodline and he has only made a few appearances from a couple of games. The question today is, which Mishima reigns supreme? Heihachi the old veteran, Kazuya the dark spawn, or Jin the new hope.
