A bit of insight into one of the Diablo 3 gameplay elements was leaked on Thursday and made official the next day by Blizzard. The Follower system is a way to get help on your journey without needing a human teammate to play with. Followers are non-player controlled partners that fight along side a player, for their own separate reasons. The followers can be upgraded with skills and their appearance change as they are outfitted with different equipment. Check out the trailer below to see the different followers in action.
